Most Unlucky Batch of the decade
Would like to know your opinions about which one of the below is the most Unlucky Batch of all time.
Saying in favour of 2023: They were the first to face JEE in online form, JEE under NTA, first batch to go through multiple attempts of JEE, Covid hit them in their 1st and 2nd years wherein they lost on campus college life (which no doubt applies to others too), there was exactly an internship boom going on in 2021.
They saw their immediate seniors of 2022 getting best placements with little preparation and hope that one will land a good paying job. The layoffs and job season of 2020 batch and to some extent 2021 batch seemed a gone era. But the economic downfall started hitting them exactly during the placement season. 2024 batch at least knew the times were tough prior to the placement season. It's hard to convince yourself to lower your expectations by half on an immediate basis!
And finally 2023 batch now has to compete both 2022 and 2024 batch. The ones who got the job cannot switch because junior roles expectations have become 1+ YOE. For ones that didn't land a job, they go through the above and also against freshers of 2024 batch who are in a better situation of landing on campus job at least.
A person switch from <2023 batches at least has 1+ YOE so they can atleast land a job even if it is a dip of income unlike 2023 batch which don't have much experience right now

I know someone from 2023 batch. He switched his career. Now he cleared CMA I think. Not completely but like 2nd level I think. It's called intermediate I think.

Batch 2020 due to COVID, convocation was missed
Most decent colleges called the students again, for a proper convocation ceremony
21 batch. Absolute no companies for the first few months then you are forced to pick whatever you are getting. 8 months later you see all your seniors and juniors getting double the salaries you got.
The batch that faced lockdowns during 2nd and 3rd year.
2020, lots of offers revoked with no clarity in the market for 1 year.
