I heard it today and this blew my mind. It is so well put. This country suffers because a huge section of the country is retarded and they unfortunately drive the major decisions directly and indirectly. We should never underestimate the power of stupidity in large numbers (farm laws protests, income tax, gender biased laws, reservation, fucked up raunchy movies and I can go on....)
Funny thing is The stupid in this country isn't so easily distinguishable, even educated and well earning people can be stupid.
If people just stfu and look within and search for the answers honestly and understand who they are, things might improve. Also people who are reasonably self aware and smart, have to take up the burden and un-stupid other people, by teaching them how to think.
PS: i have been stupid before, and ocassionaly do stupid things , but it doesn't harm the country tho. I'm stupid in silent
