Moneyview OTP scam

For some reason this app (loan provider) does not seem to have implemented rate limiting on OTP requests. I have received 10+ otps in the last hour on my number. Their customer care is unresponsive. While the chances are still low - a scammer could just brute force an OTP match at some sufficient scale of phone numbers and requests - to get a loan sanctioned.

Any ideas on how to stop this 🥵

Write a mail to them saying you are receiving OTPs and you never applied so that you have written proof when a scammer scam them (and you) as well. May help in future for filing a fraud case with police.

Did this.

Their reply was that they cannot proceed since I am emailing from an email ID that is not registered with them.

I do not use or intend to use the app - and am blocked from otp guessing attempts on my number 🤦

The company is valued at 900mn usd🤐

Follow up and say that you can call them using the allegedly registered mobile number. Also I think this can be a tactic to show higher numbers to investors by the company itself.
