Please don't. The only reason they are hiring is because a lot of good ones have left recently owing to the toxic culture in the team and overload of work. Leadership is definitely not upto the mark and you will end up feeling like working in a call center rather than learning something substantial.

Zomato will be a better company right now because of the slowdown. Moengage will lose a lot of clients

Why do you say they will lose clients? Any specific insights you can share around that

Companies (including us) are making alternative arrangements for running the moengage like services. It's just my bet that they will. You should definitely ask them how they're planning to ask people to keep paying them through the slowdown if their clients can't afford it

Thanks guys, have declined the offer.

Most horrific and terrible culture .... Something you wudnt have seen elswhere. India team is a circus. Don't join CS or sales or partnerships if for the India market..
There iz a two states story.. and India head is incompetent.. ppl have complained but there isnt any action.. the person iz the reason for frustration in da company. Rude and incompetent.. nepotic behaviour..

I've been working at MoEngage (Product) for over a year now. Company culture is pretty good and all the leaders are empathetic. Let me know if you've any specific questions.

How's the work culture in product ?. Are they any openings now in the company ? Are the leaders empathetic?

As an ex employee, I will say it totally depends on who your manager is and which region. It’s a toxic firm for sales. CSM depends on the region.
As a product, if the company they’ve sold to cannot hold the budget for marketing, it’s always replaceable with free tools or cheaper ones in the market. They used to claim a lot of things, competitions have stepped up their game and have come back.

Be careful from the CSM team leader (VP). Culture depends on the team and what kind of a manager you get. Overall it is not a toxic firm

Worst culture

They've had a hiring freeze since an year when I last heard
