Modernise? Like how?
I often hear news like this "TCS partners up with XYZ to modernise their applications blah... blah ... blah"
Tell me, aside from exceptional bootlicking skills that our top to bottom management has mastered, agreeing to everything a client says without even thinking about feasibility or better approach, what has TCS actually achieved in Tech field?
I'm seriously asking this question because I have no idea what this company has achieved over the years aside from being the "largest service based" company.

To answer your question.
Nothing.
I have felt our org claims of an advanced RnD Team but I don't think anyone has heard about what they are RnD'ing that has yielded anything.
We don't have a great product that everyone is aware of. No advanced AI, IoT, Blockchain nor other tech.
Ig the goal is to come out with fantabulous projects with high RoI with low investment but tbh that won't work in today's world. It's more like we fill pocket before we leave mentality.

Exactly. We're the powerhouse for global grunt work. Organizations pass on their "labour" tasks onto WITCH companies while their own tech team come up with some of the best products in the market. I mean it's fine from business perspective, but after being in business for so many years, the company should've done something unparalleled in IT field that no other competitor can match.
I feel TCS is on it's path to downfall, eventually it'll happen.

We have SMEs who asked consultants to search on google.
Well, i disagree with u on the 'largest service based' company part. It's actually Accenture which is the largest in service based. Remaining parts you mentioned is absolutely true, I don't think even an AI can prove your point incorrect. Sorry TCS, but truth is truth and it can't be denied but TCS has done a wonderful job in sugercoating it with their marketing skills. Well, atleast TCS is ahead in one field. 😂🍿🍿

I love the part about AI. Well, somebody has to say it. Over the years these guys have mastered the art of marketing.
