ML laptop submission

Do we need to submit laptop in office before going for maternity leave? I'm in my hometown and not in office location, so how to submit laptop as travelling is not possible after 9 months? Is anyone have any idea?

It’s not clearly defined. When I was about to go to ML, I asked HR and he said not required so I don’t submit. But when I came back from ML and had some issue with my account, IT team asked why didn’t I submit laptop before going on ML. So I guess check with HR once

I called HR and asked, HR told need to submit laptop at office, no other option. But I'm not able to travel now

You can courier it or someone can submit on your behalf with proper mail approval before hand

Totally depends on Project and HR. Please check with HRBP and Project manager. They will be able to guide you.

Special cases allow courier or behalf submission. But then again it all depends on the project.
