Trending @Cognizant; Minimum Notice period

I have completed 30+ days on the bench but am unable to get any good projects. I recently got an offer for another organisation but they need immediate joiner. So if I resign now at CTS, how many days can I get released?

HR will connect with you and they will release you from CTS within 7 working days with 3 months salary's

but if we resign on bench do we have to serve notice period ?

I know some people being on bench for more than 50 days, but still HR has not contacted them. So in my case can I resign and still can I get 3 months salary?
