Don't think it holds any value tbf, everything is linked to a KYC doc. I haven't cashed a cheque in a decade.

Again I'm not sure what's the value addition while "self attesting" other than a sign for a sign sake. You can't open a bank account in my name with just perfectly copying my sign.
