Min YOE for L5 at Google

I'm targeting landing L5 at Google in coming months. As per career page, 5 YOE is the minimum requirement but in the hiring spree that's going on I have rarely seen someone below 7 YOE land L5 at Google, mostly L4's. Does anyone know if they downlevel candidates because of no prior big tech experience? YOE: 4.5+ TC: 50LPA
