MiM abroad vs MBA in one of top 10 B schools in India?

Non-tech grad planning to do Masters but stuck in this conundrum. For more context:

  • Grades went down a lot but for medical reasons
  • Loads of extra curriculars plus freelancing for 2 years
  • Working as a marketer in an early stage startup
  • GRE score: 320. CAT yet to give this Nov

I know that getting IIM BLACKI is impossible even if I’m not a GEM cause all they care about is grades. But I wanna know if an MiM abroad (from a good uni) is worth it or should I just do an MBA in some top 10 B school here.

If anyone’s done an MiM - lemme know the ROI and if it’s truly worth spending 50L+ for a one year degree.

When it comes to management courses, my suggestion would be to stick to formal MBA.

As you said you have 2 years of exp. try ISB.

Does freelancing count as formal work exp tho? ‘Cause I’ve only been an FTE for a month lol
