Trending @Accenture; Mid-year Promotion in Accenture
I have eight years of experience and a MAL of 52. For the past three years, I've been working at Accenture at level 10. On Dec 23, I was nominated for a promotion but did not receive one. I got a project rolloff last month and shifted to another project. Is there any chance of getting promoted by mid-year?
i was in same situation i have tried outside got offer put up resignation and looking for more opportunities while serving notice.
on your first offer you may not get much hike but it will be good to boost your confidence atleast you will get good designation then current and this will open door for you to look more opportunities and further growth. by stick in Accenture you may not get anything.
Eight years and still at level 10? Accenture is playing a cruel joke on you, my friend. "Promotion" and "Accenture" in the same sentence is a rare sight. You're better off looking for opportunities elsewhere. Why are you still clinging onto false hopes? "Ummeed pe duniya kayam hai", but how long will you survive on just hope? What's your plan B?
Yes, I was thinking about switching, but the IT sector is absolutely low. I thought of waiting till mid-year hike results.. if there is no progress, I must switch.
