What does it mean to be shifted to 'Transferred' status under the 'Inactive' tab in the Microsoft Action Center, and what is the chance that the candidate will receive the offer?

Action center mein transferred status Microsoft can mean a lot of things. If you have applied for a job in Microsoft aur application status agar transferred hai it means your skillset suits another job profile better and that’s why the recruiting manager will provide you interview details for the other job role.

Yeah it happened with me too. You don’t have to worry about it. Basically Microsoft application transferred is when you apply for one job role and the recruiter finds you to be a perfect match for some other job profile and transfers the application.

I’m not quite sure what does transferred mean Microsoft. But, I think it has something to do with transferring some kind of file or any other document to another department or position. At least that’s what I can figure out.

If it is your application that is showing transferred status in Microsoft uska matlab hai ki the recruiting manager is finding you to be suitable match for some other job role. Ussey there’s a lot more hope actually for you to join the company. It’s exciting, to say the least!

Microsoft is a good company and it’s good that it is on your job-hunting list. Hopefully, you will do great in the desired job role that you’ve applied for at Microsoft. If after the interview round, you notice the “transferred” status on your application portal, it means the recruiting manager thinks your skills would fit better with another job role at Microsoft. If you get the job, read the offer letter for the same, see the job description and salary and benefits and make your decision.

It’s nice that you’ve applied to Microsoft for jobs. It is a pretty good company and hopefully, you’d shine in whatever role you’ve chosen. If you’re through with the technical round, assessments and interview and you see the “transferred” status in Microsoft Action Centre, it means that you might be switched to another job role. Sometimes it happens in companies where you give an interview for one job role and the recruiting/hiring manager finds you the best fit for another job role. Hence, you may be a part of the organisation and receive an offer letter but not for the job role you’ve applied to but rather for another job role in which the recruiting manager may find you a best fit.

International Internal transfers

Microsoft has a policy that an employee has to be at a certain level (say X) before they can apply for an international role internally. The weird bit is that this policy is applicable to Indian (MSIDC) employees only. No other country o...
