Microsoft doing layoffs, again?

they're probably firing to hire cheap in India.

Tis the new Microsoft. Layoffs happen ever 2 quarters now (lot of companies follow the 6 month based layoffs strategy these days)

I don't think it's affecting Indian workforce.
