ERP became big in the 90's. It was a game changing enterprise level software that unified information across the company. today, every person who needs any reports can do it himself and get the info in a click of a button. But they have hired people like me to download that info which is avl to them, to an excel. Add color headings, make colorful tables and send it to them or their assistants who will read them and give them a snap shot in a ppt.

Ai will replace a few jobs, but create even more jobs in a different area. Business leaders do not hire people for every reason other than for what they need them.
