Going to be 12+ years in the industry. Switched multiple companies, upskilled changed domain, i left too soon or joined so late in some companies and projects that had this opportunity.
I dont wish to get settled, just go to a different continent for few months , travel and experience it.
But looks like its an unfulfilled dream

Same here bro, I can completely feel it. Wherever I go, the company starts a budget freeze just before my time.
Oh damn! Same here!! I have longed so much for an on site opportunity but always seem to miss it by a small margin, be it H1B lottery or short term europe travel or even a 2 day conferences.
It is not like I can’t go on my own.
But it would feel nice to be sent by corporate just once, everyone around me gets to go so often. 😢
