I am thinking of opening mentoring sessions to few people via topmate.
Background:
Indian guy. Did engineering from NIT in Civil Engineering and worked in India in multiple companies for five years in project management.
Got fed up and moved to Central Europe for Masters in Finance. Worked in MNCs to the likes of BlackRock, Morgan Stanley and Citi in Central Europe for past 5 years. Currently, Working in Citi as an AVP in CEE.

Is risk management highly paid at higher levels or is it subpar like at lower levels. Asking because I have worked in credit risk and moving to a big bank as an AVP is one of the future options available to me but I think I may make more moving to strategy or analytics. Any thoughts?
Tough to generalize but as we move up, the salary grows at faster rate for sure. Risk Modelling pays better at lower levels as they have core tech skills. At higher levels, a lot of things are required to earn more . Hope this helps
Thanks for the reply. Can you give more details on the additional things required if possible? Additionally, At your level do you see any high growth areas in the banking/finance sector?
Asking so that I can possibly take the most beneficial path moving forward for the next 4-5 years down the line.
