Memories flashback from highschool days

In high school, I was a "topper," and so was the girl who sat in the row right next to mine. Because our seats rotated but stayed in their respective rows, she was always my neighbor for many years. We even lived just 10 minutes apart.

So in class 10th, one day, she gave me a novel to read. Actually we used to always exchange our books related to study and core subjects. She told me the English was "too difficult" for her and asked if I could read it. I took it home, started reading out and guess what, the novel was about a Prince and his Princess. As I think of that feeling while reading the book I remember I was hiding something to read for the first time in my life. It's also very important to point this fact that at that age I think maybe 15 around, I of course thought she had given me a book to read and pondered the language is not that difficult and she being a topper herself found it surprising why she faced difficulties understanding the novel.

To "ease her mind," I told her: "It’s not hard at all, I only had to use a dictionary a few times." Apart from this I also gave her a novel to read and that was I think The canterville ghost. I don't remember this exactly though.

Then we completed our high school and went to different colleges.

In 2016, I found her on Facebook and sent a request. She accepted, but 2 to 3 hours later, her profile turned into a blank generic page and even I could not locate her when I searched. I thought it was a glitch or something and even pondered if she had blocked me.

So all this was almost a decade back. Guess what I have got her instagram follow request. Seeing her after a decade brings me a pleasant nostalgic feeling but also a thing that she may had blocked me on Facebook a decade back.
