Melatonin gummies

I have been struggling with sleeplessness. I would say it’s been a long time since I had a 8 hours of proper bed rest. This made me reach out to peers and one common suggestion was melatonin gummies. Wanted to know it’s someone uses it and if it’s actually helps one with sleep.

Avoid taking any wellness products without proper consultation. Indian brands are shitty and running biz based on pure marketing. There is no regulation on the category also, so don’t fall into marketing traps.

I've tried melatonin gummies. Didn't affect anything at all, if I felt actually sleepy id sleep else no.

I actually completely solved my insomnia/sleep cycle/sleep disorder whatever you call it. Only 2 steps -

  1. 15 min sunlight exposure walk at around 1100-1130
  2. Grayscale phone display

That's it. Done. Thank me later, happy sleeping😴

You shouldn't take it without consulting a doctor.

If you develop dependence on it then you are screwed.

So best to take the doctor's advice.

I've heard recently that obsessing over sleep doesn't really help with falling asleep quickly. Maybe just get the basics right and then decide to worry about it after an extended period of time (a month?).

I have tried it all. Avoiding screen an hour before bed, counting backwards from 1000. But none of them seem to work, I even tried to manually adjust my sleep cycle by staying awake one whole night

Should visit a doctor for this Sleep is extremely extremely important, please spend money and time to solve it at it's core

Avoiding caffeine, alcohol helps. Working out also helps. Melatonin works, but I would not recommend it as a regular thing to take. For that you need to visit a doctor.

I take it before flights, just to avoid a red eye. But don't take the easy option, it will fuck you up later. Visit a doctor!

A cup or two per day not a lot I would say.

Consult a psychiatrist. They will evaluate if you have any other underlying issues and can prescribe you small doses of sleeping pills.

If possible take a small consultation with your general doc, better and wiser than gummies

Often doctors tell you the same few things:

  1. Eat better
  2. Workout
  3. Get sunlight
  4. Better social life
  5. No caffeine, alcohol or smokes
  6. Avoid lots of electronics
  7. Meditate

Like you didn't know these already. Still a health checkup is good to have.

And yes melatonin helps a lot and no side-effects.
