Medical Insurance

If I forgot to enroll my parents within 90 days of my joining then only critical illness will be covered when I enroll my parents in insurance. So I want to ask that apart from critical illness of my parents admitted to hospital fro 2 or 3 days for normal accident then can I claim the insurance amount ?
