MBA suggestion for >10 years of experience sister engineer

I'm planning to pursue MBA either offline or online. Don't know where to start. I have around 11 years of experience in IT industry with more technical capabilities on cloud, devops and SRE. My intention in getting an MBA is to get out of this tech heavy work which is eating out my work life balance. Explode few options from edu startups, BITS Pilani wilp but couldn't decide. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Always look for past record of the options you’re considering. Do they have enough evidence of giving other people what you’re looking for - e.g. going from the kind of role you’re in to the kind of role you want to get to?

Find out using LinkedIn search and talking to people who’ve already taken that route.

In general, I’ve found online courses to be less effective than full time programs, especially for function change. If you’d said I want I grow faster in the same function or slight change in technical roles, online courses may have been a decent option. For getting into PM, the online course on one’s resume is mostly a small factor. May just help you push yourself to hustle and network more, be more confident and that gets you the desired job - but by itself, it doesn’t influence the hiring decision as much as the flagship full time programs imo.

Tech is the future. You should never strive to get out of tech.

You can look into programs from IIM’s (Kozhikode, Raipur, Ranchi and few more) which has Executive MBA’s where classes are happening during Weekends with decent fees. You can continue your job along with it.

Is there any point in doing an online masters?

I have a shitty bachelor's degree from tier 2/3 college that has been a hindrance in getting good jobs. Need a master's degree but full time MBA seems wasteful and expensive, since I already understand the basics of business and have boo...
