MBA or status quo

I’m fkin confused of whether a MBA would makes sense. I have been working in strategy roles in startups making 40+ as of now.(2YOE) I believe there’s a pay ceiling in such roles and the whole bet is around ESOPs for which either enter early and take less pay or if you join late it’s about the amount of esops you get.

I feel like doing a MBA and switching to finance.

But the ROI math messes my mind up
