MBA after 11 years of exp. in TCS.
Give me higher studies option after leaving TCS with 11 years of exp. in this layoff scenario. Age - 35 years.
MBA. or M.Sc (Data Science) or M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering).
Genuine suggestions please on higher studies.

Heyya Good Sir, I believe I am qualified to answer this cause recently I had the opportunity to experience this first hand.
Considering the age and exp, an MBA would be better. Reason being Msc and MTech is very demanding not just during the course tenure but after that as well.
Organisations look for people young after Mtech or Msc because training them is easy. They are ready to be moulded. But with so much of exp they find it difficult to train and mould a person as the age span is a factor against this.
MSc or MTech if you are truly a virtuoso and really brilliant that you can build a system for an organisation on your own then the tables turn. Your exp becomes valuable but lets face it if that were the case you would be going for MAANGA companies and not in TCS.
And if you are planning for online mode then most companies void the value of it. Sadly in India online cases are not at all accepted. Even outside as well.
Recommendation: MBA more preferably Executive full time MBA. Crack and get into the best of the best or creme de la creme institutions like IIM BLACK or XLRI or ISB. Their programmes that is full time and executive will hold alot more value given the age. They would be happy to have you.
However, Recently ROI of a Masters is dropping. But if you are doing please do it from Tier 1 college especially MBA and that too full time mode maybe 1 year executive programme so it will help you get ahead of the curve. As it is alot of people go for a Masters and whole place is saturated. But getting it from a tier 1 uni will help you stay a bit ahead and yield better ROI chances.
Think carefully and make the call. If you feel you will be a true virtuoso go for MSC or Mtech. If not MBA but from tier 1 college. Dont do it for the sake of it from anywhere else cause RoI is shit.

At your age and exp, MBA from foreign universities is favourable, as in India mba after more than 4-5 yrs exp is not favourable. Even if u complete MBA in india getting a job will get difficult. Many foreign colleges in fact prefer MBA at this experience level.

If ur plan is to avoid layoff , taking education route is not right , If u want to study legit , then go for it

Anything is possible if you have the bandwidth..
Please note you need to give 100% and will be surrounded by kids.. I am not saying it's impossible but it depends on your mindset to overcome social stigma..
Also Don't choose MBA as those roles are very much AI replaceable..
