This depends on your situation. There's no fixed time. All boils down to your discussion with your manager and in some cases higher ups. I have seen someone who was allowed to take 2 months of time off without pay. But this was a rare thing. Depends on you how you convince your manager 😁
Recently, Bank of America’s india GCC updated their paternity leaves to 26 weeks ( 16 weeks paid and 10 weeks unpaid). It used to be ~2 weeks earlier.
