all higher education in India is just an option for the unemployed/people who don't like their job/people who have no other choice.
Am from Finance, there is no difference in the job deliverable that a BCom cannot do, that needs an Mcom. we have so many people in India that, we more than unemployment, under employment is a problem. Imagine buying a high powered laser to cut vegetables, that's Indian education-employment scenario . There is team of 5 CA's at my last company who job was to track receivables and create MIS reports. A job that can be done, by any person who can tell the difference between typewriter and a computer.
Formal education is a waste of time. If you are from a business family, don't waste time in going to college. If you are looking for a salaried employment, UG is fine. If a person is unable to land a decent role or achieve growth, the only thing PG will do is delay the inevitable. One will just be wasting more money and finally land in shit.
