Masters in Data analytics

I'm writing this ask for suggestions in pursuing MBA in Data analytics or MS in data science.

I'm having 5YOE as a data analyst, I mostly used Excel and a bit of SQL. Now to get a job at big firms, they need an MBA if you are a commerce graduate.

Hence I want to pursue an MBA in Data analytics or MS in data science so that I have a proper masters degree to get into Analytics role into a big brand. Though I've explored all the certificates programs by IIT and IIM.

Nothing beats the credibility of a masters degree . I would be glad if you can share your take.

Bull shit nobody cares about these MBA/MS courses.. I have interviewed candidates who had done ms/mba etc in data science but had no knowledge of SQL. Focus on SQL, problem solving

Bhai I just want a questions.. I was looking for job of data analyst for 1 yrs but not getting any opportunity.. mostly company prefer experienced candidates.. also I'm good at Excel, SQL, BI tools , python and basic ML..Kai jagah apply Kiya , cold emailing bhi try kiya kuch response nhi aa rha hai.. MR ka job karta hu 40-45k mil jata hai lekin aana mujhe analytics me hai.. aur kya mai try karta hu iss field me aane ke liye...kuch extra skills ya different approaches kya try Karu ??

For big-brand analytics roles, an MS in Data Science (from IIT/IIM) beats an MBA—it directly upgrades your tech skills (Python/ML) which your profile lacks. With 5 years of experience as a data analyst and a commerce background an MBA in Data Analytics could be a great choice if you're aiming for leadership or product-focused analytics roles in big firms On the other hand an MS in Data Science leans more technical and suits roles that demand deep hands-on modeling and coding skills If your goal is strategic roles in analytics go for the MBA.
