Masters in Australia

Hey so I was thinking of doing masters in Australia preferably data science or business analytics. I want to know do any of you have any idea about the job market there. I know it’s not US level but the work life balance is better there from what u have heard.

My qualifications- passed out 2022 from newer IIT, currently working as a data engineer/analyst .

Also would love to know what about UK ?

Getting a job is tougher in Auz because most companies prefer citizens or pr. Go to LinkedIn and search for jobs you’ll find around 20-30% (anecdotal number) jobs mentioning there are only hiring residents or prs. That being said, what I see most get hired but its a very uphill battle and a lot of struggle and sometimes people have to choose low paying jobs in some small city.

In the UK you need to get sponsored to stay after your psw visa is over and getting a company to sponsor you is not a trivial task.

I see. So only US is kinda open to immigration but from what I see the H1B lottery is kinda tricky . What about Canada ?
