Today mass layoff was done from Third Unicorn Devs, IT team, devops all were impacted
Layoffs in such early phase startup came as a shock
Could be due to new GST rules

I got laid off as well working as a nodejs dev. development team is half the size now. When i saw 28%gst rule, i was getting afraid that i might get laid off.
Plus they arent able to generate much profit, too much billing.
they are downgrading the servers as well.
Also type of work is mostly hurry hurry based rather than improving the quality. Sure some optimizations have been done, but not so much.
managment thought that nothing much is getting delivered but they didnt focus we were integrating new 3rd party api for live matches, doing optimizations, improving code quality. doing load testing, creating optimized apis, delay in integrating razorpay due to kyc issue. I have done approx 358 commits during my time here at so totally disagree with them. no, we were not enjoying. did they even see who is actually working and who’s not ?
Lastly i just want to say that great product requires more time and effort with focus on quality.
Was laid off under similar situation some months back, hence I know how it feels. Just stay strong, and all the best for the job hunt
