Married Millenials - Engineers and other IT folks. Plans to have children in the next year or two?
Asking as we are seeing an increasing trend among IT Millenials with focus shift to cats and dogs and being pet parents. Alarming in a way but yes can't blame anyone with the cultural - environmental - political and financial upheaval happening around.
PS: CEO has twins while employees refuse to think of kids even.

Speaking from biology angle - People planning to have kids should get AMH test (blood test) to check person's egg count which costs under ₹500. If the egg counts are somewhere around 1.5-1.7, they should plan within an year or so. If they are more, congrats, you got time to plan for kids and enjoy the freedom. Getting into the ivf mess is horrible, time taking, mentally challenging for your partners and what not. There is no way to increase the egg count once depleted and its different for different women. Same for guys, get the sperm count tested. If it is low or with some problems, change lifestyle and exercise for 6-8 months.
