Trending @Accenture; Marriage conversations made easy due to Accenture :p

Was recently in conversations about my marriage. My girlfriend comes from a traditional family where they still are old school in thoughts, and on top of it, we are from different caste.

I finally went to meet her parents along with my parents. The conversation was tough as it is.

Uncle didn't know where I work, but complained that I don't even have a stable government job since I work in Bangalore in IT.

Then when he asked more, I said I work in Accenture. Suddenly, there was a relief on him. He is a traditional baniya, so when he heard Accenture... he said "Oh good, they are stable like government, I have heard a lot".

Eased the rest of conversation a bit.

Conclusion: This job that I have hated myself for so long, might have been a bit of icing on cake in my wedding conversations 😂
