Marketing done wrong!! They need to check their data!
Received a LinkedIn connection request that left me scratching my head: “India’s only Matchmaking portal for Ivy & Top B-School Alumni.” The pitch even went on to say they had lots of my batchmates enrolled for their services. What a joke 😆
A quick glance at my profile would reveal I’m a Tier 3 graduate, hardly the Ivy League or top B-school alum they’re targeting.
Classic case of marketing gone wrong, likely due to poor data segmentation or a lack of basic research. Made me question the credibility of the service. If they can’t get something as basic as my educational background right, how can they be trusted to match people effectively?

You're overthinking it a lot. They just need to get a few targets to make their money. You have spotted it and are not interested but others may be.
I get that…but their TG identification is wrong. If you are not choosing your TG wisely the chances of conversion is even low. Normally the conversion ration on a warmup is around 1 to 1.5%
This dips if your TG is not right fit

Imagine using their service and ending up in fridge or blue drum, if that’s so will be get refund or concessions. Just asking for my friends. Thanks
Atleast cream layer like IIT IIM grads should come up with innovative ways to end

I get similar messages for tele caller jobs from random consulting firms. Good thing now, I message back asking to connect with their manager/owner to provide cleaner, validated data. :D I either dnt get any more messages or get a lead :P
FYI, you can direct them to us also at ziplabs(.)ai

So the matchmaking company…cannot do matchmaking?
