HP's figures are wildly inaccurate. Amidst the Covid outbreak, for 2.5 years, I've lived there & frequented remote regions, particularly villages, where broadband infrastructure is virtually non-existent. In 5-6 villages, at most, only one connection can be found. I am not talking about upper Himachal, but the lower region which shares its borders with Punjab. And, the situation is still the same. So, excluding towns or district headquarters, these numbers are simply unrealistic. Genuinely curious about the source of these statistics. ;-)
