Few months ago, mama earth CEO compared it's losses with Amazon saying, "Amazon too made losses". Now Firstcry is IPO bound with their losses being 6x in 2023 and also justifoed it.

I am yet to see a single big success story in India startup ecosystem which justifies 'India has arrived' and so much VC's exuberance .

Founders don't have a choice. Having raised funds or when trying to raise funds, a founder who says "we are fucked" won't be appreciated for honesty. When you want to catch the big fish you got to feed a bigger bait.
