Mandatory Compliance with WFO and Working Hour Policies - Action Required

Anyone received WFO non compliance mail like this from HR team ? What are the consequences? Will it only impact the QVA or may lead to termination?

Here is the complete mail -

“ This is to formally notify you regarding your Work From Office (WFO) index and adherence to the Working Hour Policy for the tenure Q4 FY25

Your Quarterly RTO compliance percentage is below 85% which is below the acceptable threshold. Please be advised that non compliance with the WFO policy directly impacts your variable pay. Your manager has been marked in CC for necessary visibility and follow up.

Additionally, your average WFO number of work hours has been recorded as : <1 hrs avg. time.

We urge you to maintain consistent WFO attendance on a weekly and monthly basis and ensure full compliance with the working hour policy . Non compliance will be monitored and may result in disciplinary action.

Your immediate attention and cooperation are expected. “

How many hours you generally maintain like 3-5 or 5-7??

Punch in and punch out, I don’t have odc in my base location, as supervisor isn’t approving exception i have to go, and in general odc the network is so poor that i can’t work properly

Not me, but some of my teammate got same email. Our manager said now HRs are strictly monitoring the number of hours in office.

Anyway, to answer your query, No, it won't lead it termination. This is first warning. There is second warning. And if you don't go still, then u have to create some sad story like my chacha hospitalized, I have injury or whatever. It's fine as long as HR, supervisor is convinced.

Tcs isn't known to terminate employment unless u do something extreme like sell your client data, leak api keys in public or worse, damage reputation with client.

Unless u do these u r safe bro. Chill bro.

Termination ? I heard this was only for bench warmers. Will they take action for the people in project also ?

My WFO Index has always been > 86% but I received two HR Warning mails because I was spending less than 3 hours in the office. Now I have started going to the office for 5-7 hours.

Atleast please be compliant for the office attendance if you get 86% also you are safe
