Managers really knows how to manipulate employees

I've experienced this in TCS, no matter what your disagreements are with the project or anything else, your manager knows how to manipulate you. First they try to manipulate you by praising you, talking about your not so useful achievements in the he project, so that you start thinking about that and forget the things you were disagreeing with. But, still, if you continue to disagree, then they'll show you their true colors. They will completely change the tone of the conversation, now it becomes an argument, they will start talking about what you did wrong.

This has happened with me, when got praises at the start of the conversation and the conversation ended with a completely opposite thing, like I was a different person after 15 minutes.

The point is THEY'RE NOT GONNA LISTEN TO YOU

There is no point in getting into argument. If things are not as your are expecting then Better to leave the project or leave tcs.

Friends,

If you have problems with Projects or Persons... Silently ask for Release and get out of that area. Don't argue with idiots to prove your Calibre.

You will get one or the other Project/Manager that suits you...and you can stay there for long.

Note: Don't leave TCS because of some Idiots get in your way...

There r two type of managers here

  1. 0ld timers who never really worked in any technology, dont want to learn anything, sitting in their comfort zone, so they can only save their a## by creating problems for others and not allowing the l@teral hire( joined within 3-4 years) to showcase their skills and grow here. They are also jealous of the fact that l@teral hires have better skills , CTC and scared of them.

  2. Relatives, same lingo, same village, Ch@mchas, L!ck3rss - surviving because of these reasons. I have never came across ANYONE in middle management who knows any technology ( Upper management, I never gota chance to interact)..
