Trending @Infosys; Manager Toxic Behaviour

My manager doesn't know how to talk to their team members. Whenever he will connect started shouting like hell. Yesterday he scolded me in front of 6 colleagues. Everybody was staring at me .I couldn't say anything. What should I do? I don't want to harm in any way but also convey to him I don't like his way of talking .

Take a step back . And analyse from viewpoint. What you did , is it a big mistake. If not, try to setup a meeting with him and ask how can you improve

These people basically need to satisfy their egos as they are managers. They like to take advantage of their position. If it gets too much I would suggest to give him back some in a professional way. Do it one on one. Otherwise just ignore because his/her words does not define your worth, it only shows how he/she is. So ignore, do your work and get out.

Say goodbye to Infy bro…ruthless manager sitting since long in their time increment was good and ample opportunities are available now competition is high so such behaviour will be there.. I would suggest go outside and find good opportunities I suffered the same now leaving from here.. your RM and DM behaviour matters a lot here…

At least you have some hike this will give you some relief such ppl are all around even in the society.. so better prioritise the things when such managers available and no option left just try your luck outside something better might be waiting outside for u…

I too going through the same thing. These ppl being in same project for more than 10-15 years, thinks that they are superior. Even HR are not of much help when I raised this issue to them, instead they asked me to connect with Hale counsellor.

Many people commenting they are also going through same, even i am going through it, i know its so hard to work under these people but temporary solutions is to dont take them personally, may be its just a phase, meanwhile prep for outside. If things wont get better and before switching talk to them once

If someone shouts in front of 6 people. Please tell clearly in front 6 people - can we be professional and talk and not shout . 9/10 folks will piss in their pants on hearing this from their junior in front of 6 people of the same team
