Manager threatens me
I joined in a very stressful and toxic project. It is forcing team to work 10h day including weekends. I understood my future in just first task and resigned without offer. I am coming from medical leave. I cannot lose my health again. Now manager started shouting how can you resign after getting all access? I will talk to management. I will stop your pay. You did very wrong. Now you will face it.
Can he stop my pay? I believe I have the right to resign anytime. What action he can take? How much harm he can do to me? Resigning without offer is already stressful. Now this idiot is making me sleepless
He cannot stop payment The only thing he can do is reduce the notice period.
Means will he release me? Then it is good for me. I am getting calls but nobody scheduled interview bcz of 3 months notice period
You have to understand that YOUR MANAGER IS MORE STRESSED THAN YOU..
He may be laid off if he is unable to replace you.. If you drop a single harassment complaint against him.. HIS GAME IS OVER..
TRUST ME.. He can't do anything.. Don't attack him directly or at a personal level..
He is only attacking me and blaming as if I did a crime. Now there is no dependency on me. If I couldn't bear the stress and resign after getting work dependency it will become very tough for them to let me go. That's why I resigned now itself

As long as younare not violating any hr policy your manager cannot do anything except threatening to you....
That too if he does in mail he will be in trouble...
Next time he threatens you tell him politely let's talk in black and white and switch to emails for all communication
