Manager not validating appraisal data

Guys , I m about to complete my one year and HR and other sending mail me to raise appraisal in speed , I have raised but my manager not validating that since five days , and deadline is near . HR is calling and mailing me again and agian . what to do ?

This is as much a problem for you, it's a problem for your manager. Make sure your appraiser, reviewer and HR details are marked correctly in your SPEED. If yes, add all your comments and appraisal and submit it. Mark your HR in cc and mail it to your manager. If not responding, the escalate via constant email with HR in loop in each and every mail.

Then worry not, he will be chocked. But I will also convey, as first year appraisal doesn't have much value in TCS these days. Maybe that could be another reason for your manager's lethargic approach to it. But worry not, HR at some point will definitely escalate it.

@Ever Ask HR for a resolution and not just keep asking for update. Send gentle reminders to your manager after every 3-4 days. Keep everything on email and let it escalate. If your manager joins any huddle/update calls, point it out subtly.

  1. I m sending reminders via mail to manager everyday , he is not replying .
  2. I have told all to HR , rather than finding solutions, HR sending me mail again

Oh! So you got stuck with “That” kind of manager? Do one thing forward that same email to your manager and keep HR in CC. Keep persuading him and try to change your project because if he is giving you this much pain just for validating data then I can only imagine what hell he will give you during your appraisals. Lookout bro/sis !!

Tag your manager in the mails being sent hy HR. and ask him to update..

Ask your colleagues for these details , if they have it , well and good else , reply to the mail u received from HR and tag your manager .
