Trending @Accenture; Manager not approving leaves
I have 10 (sick+casual) leaves remaining which will lapse on 31st August but the manager is neither approving for planned leaves nor entertaining sick leaves. I availed 6 sick leaves in the past 2 months and he was getting angry about that. What should I do? Please suggest.
This is a blatant violation of professionalism, i would suggest have a 1 on 1 and explain your manager you are entitled to sick leaves
Bro, if you already knows your manager is like this. instead of health issues you should have provided reason like personal emergency. In this scenario he cant do anything.

I am new to this project. I joined 2 months ago. I mostly tell about personal emergency instead of health but still they seem unhappy. As per one of the teammates, the client is not ready to entertain sick leaves and managers have pressure for that😞
Leaves are never asked for, they are directly taken
You don't need approval for sick leaves. Just drop a message on teams as soon as you can in the morning.
If he says he won't entertain sick leaves then just get a health certificate and show it to your lead. He is entitled to approve. Otherwise you can take the case to the higher level as well.
Certificate is required only for more than 2 leaves
Never take an approval for your leaves. Paid leaves/sick leaves you are entitled to. Just inform and later drop an email. Lastly, charge it on Myte
Just drop an email to the manager when you are taking sick leave.later just select sick leave option while filling myte. If he acknowledges your email then good else we can't do anything much about it. Don't worry and take your leaves.
Why do you want approval for sick leaves. You suddenly fall sick and send out a message. That’s it. Be smart at workplace.
Go as per hierarchy... Contact the next level I'm sure the issue will be resolved
You can try to change any previous leaves taken to Sick or Casual in myTE.
