Trending @HCL; Manager not approving early release
My official LWD is 9th May but I need an early release as I have to join my next company by 30th April and my Manager is not approving my early release and telling me they have not found my replacement and hence I can’t leave. What steps can I follow to get it approved?

Official lwd will remain as is if your RM is not approving. Discuss with the new org and request for a week's extension. It's not a big deal for them. Tell them that you are an important resource and client is not letting you leave early

You still have 1 month of time for resource replacement. So, from your end complete all the tasks, KT information you need to provide and request your Manager in a polite manner. Worst case plan for medical emergency leaves
