If I was a manager i would understand someone bearing a low tone in their night call between 9 -11 pm meetings are regular and you cannot put the same energy throughout the year.

Hahahaha, been there. That superb manager is out from the company now. Ignore these assholes with such superpowers. However, i used to ask point blank - “how did you get to know about my tone and intention from a message?”

In my case, they always have manipulated or diplomatic answers. Can't exactly put the words here. Sad to see on indian manager bearing this mentality. Have been under few US managers. Team never had a problem.
