Manager denied early release from the project

Need some advice : - I got informed from my manager 10 days before stating that i will be getting replaced with some senior candidate once they find them. As per the bench policies in TCS. To not take risk , I tried looking for the opportunities outside and i got one. I genuinely told my manager about the offer and the situations happening during the bench period. Then the manager stated that they're in search of the resource. So if they find any then they'll release me from the project is what they mentioned. Otherwise you apply for a notice period of 90 days is what the manager said. Is there any possible way other than this to get released from the project. Once if i get released from the project. Then it would be easy for me to resign and get the process done in 10 days.

I need some suggestions. Please help me. I work as an ML Engineer and YOE is 3.5 This is my first switch.

The new company joining is in 20 days.
