
Trending @Accenture; Manager can extend your notice period if project work is incomplete?
I have only 15 days remaining of my notice period, so will the manager extend my last working day? because of the above reason ?

No it can't be extended given that you have beennpresent on work days during notice period... its does not matter whether work is complete or incomplete...you have already notified the company in advance that you are leaving and as per law, no company can extend your notice period given that you should not have taken leaves except sick and casual (that too within the limit of your leave balance).

Thanks for ur answer, I Had taken 2 sick leaves but Manager because of his ego he was telling he will extend notice period. And recently I had spoken with the TL ,he mentioned that they are planning to extend my notice period for few days because of incomplete work

usually they can't extend only exception I have seen so far is taking leaves doesn't matter whether it is sick or casual, if you are not connected then they will extend correspondingly.

You mean taking sick or casual is the only reason they can extend notice period is it ?

Sick and casual leaves from leave balance can't be reason for extension... i am also serving NP and my exit manager told me that I can utilize my sick and casual leaves

No they cannot extend the notice period if you are serving the standard notice period as per your offer letter.

Oh I have been even if it's sick/casual leave & aren't approved by manager then they will extend the notice period , I still have 10sick& casual leave.. My project is full of toxic & managers are sick. So I'm bit worried about extension of NP
