Manager assigning more work in last days of Notice Period
I asked my Manager for 1 week notice period reduction where my primary responsibilities and KT transition is over . He said discuss with your supervisor before I was going to drop a mail , he dropped mail until the last day I had tasks to complete other delivery impacts and client risks like that he mentioned. Then the supervisor consulted him for my release but even though I don't have any works on the plate , he was using his position as program manager telling me I had to work for other applications in the last 10 days otherwise client risks. so they we can't approve early release but this manager keep on giving random work ask me provide detail status even though he was aware I don't know those tasks
How to deal with this , can I say I don't know how to do those tasks does it impact any further release ?
In your notice period, you are only responsible for completing KTs. They can't extend your notice period so don't worry. Do some tasks whatever you can and then send them back to continue from where you left.
Sick leaved
New tasks which are new to associate can't be assigned in last few days of notice period... Only known work can be given. So you can say no to such tasks.
