Trending @Accenture; Manager asking to revoke resignation
Hello all, I will need your guidance. I have total 8 years of experience , currently working as MEAN stack developer at client location. I resign because for 2 years I havent received any hike but now manager is trying to retain me as there is dependency in this project. I have offer of 25Lpa but its a start up company. Manager is offering me 25% hike on my fixed(15.5 lpa) which comes around 19.3 and Vp we all know how its is. Should I revoke or join start up !

Don't stay and even if you decided to stay then don't trust on oral communication of 25% hike. Ask them to give some written proof

Don't stay I trusted verbal communication and lost good offers, didn't get anything after revoke.

Startup= hustle, good learning experience, good growth, grind.
If you're one of them who doesn't want a good amount of work, and is in a comfort zone, stay.
And if you're one of those who wants to learn and grow and challange yourself leave.
Yes , I think I should leave, there is some much to expore.

Stay back , if you don't get an offer apart from startup.
Startup can sustain for a year , plus work is going to be higher , almost no team.
If you get another offer , should be Ok

Leave !! With the offer in hand, you can try other organisations aswel

25% hike when manger promised to give this December cycle . This cycle decision is done.budjets are freezed . U have to wait till next June and 25% hike possible only when u get promoted. Leave bro
Very valid point, i also had this thought. After reading all suggestions I believe its best to leave, cant trust Managers.

Don't revoke.. trusting ur manager and staying back will be the worst decision of your career.. keep moving in initial years.
Very true, i have this doubt for 2 years even after 100% utilization no hike ! How can they promise of 25%

Leave. Last cycle even i was promised and got nothing. I had to find a job again and currently serving notice period

Dont stay to reach 25LPA here you will again have wait another 2-3 years whereas if you join startup and worked there for 1-2 years then again you can look for opportunities in that case you can get 30-35LPA….if not matching the salary don’t even consider revoking resignation
