Trending @Accenture; Manager asking for voluntary early exit while on Notice Period

I am currently serving notice period and my LWD is on 16th December. After few days of submitting resignation, my project ended and now I am unassigned. My manager called me and she asked me if I can take voluntary early exit as no other projects are willing to hard-lock me as I am on NP. And reason for asking early exit is that it may create issue as I will charge to Unassigned Time code in MyTE. She is not forcing me but she said she will talk with leadership on this and they will take decision. She clearly said that I will need to pay for the remaining notice period or my EL balance can be used. Why should I compromise my money for their issue? I was always a excellent resource but they just appreciated it verbally😑 , Never given any award or RP to me due to so called Budget issues 🤬. Please suggest how to handle such situation.

TIA..!!!

I have an offer already and I rescheduled my joining date at new company to later date based on LWD in accenture. Now I think new company will not entertain me to again prepone the joining date.

  1. I won't recommend you to get an early release at a cost of hard earned leaves.
  2. However I don't feel there is any harm in connecting with HR from a new organisation and tell them that you are open to join early.
  3. Another thing you can do it update your naukri profile as immediate joiner. You will get calls from orgs who are looking for immediate joiners.

I get your frustration. Stand your ground and politely refuse the early exit unless they compensate you fairly. You’ve earned your dues, don’t let them off easy.

Say ull leave early if they will pay notice period salary

If your manager asks for an early exit, they need to pay you out not the other way around. Have seen such cases in S&C wherein we compensated the candidates.

Just as in Welcome movie, ghungru seth tells majnu bhai - ask the manager/anyone : "wo paise jo mang rHe ho - tumhara baap chod ke gaya ya tumhadi maa?" 💀🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🤣

Don't reply anything. Let them pay. Keep charging on old code until issue arises. Or rather talk to HR and tell what to do and you won't be leaving early. Tell then if they want to leave early, reduce notice further. I want to go off from here too if i get something better.. this is too hell of a place.

Connect with your people advisor. Seek clarity on the policy for volunteering early exit with the project ramp down, I guess all project has exit budget till the deal redeploys all its resources to manage chargebility.
