Management Consultant scope

What is the scope of management consultants at present ? I did my executive MBA from IIM Calcutta but not getting any interview calls. Still stuck in a mid management tech role.

Can someone throw some light as to what should I do ? Yoe : 12 years Tech experience: worked in Data Analytics and Strategy Worked in Deloitte and KPMG but now in an CMMI level 5 MNC. Domain Expertise: BFSI, Manufacturing, DSC (Digital supply chain), Healthcare/Lifesciences.

No hike from past 3 years with toxic work culture. Please help as started feeling depressed now.
