Making Daily commute interesting.
I work in Pune as an IT professional and because of 5 working days I have to travel 14 kms to the company and 14 back home. So there are so many pain points I can mention but I want to share how I make this interesting and trust me I don't listen to music as my ears hurt.
- The first thing is to avoid thinking about the office or work or even family and friends cause you know one thought leads to another and so on...
- Be childlike: children are interested in almost everything be it trees, buildings, sun, other vehicles...
- Everything will turn to dust: This makes everything even beautiful. Either those things will outlive you or the other way around. But dust is destiny.
- There is a pattern in driving: the fun begins when you see how vehicles from a particular district(I memorised passings for fun)or brand or gender or profession follow a pattern and even if they don't that's a surprise.
- People don't drive they flow: Like the scene from Pusha where he throws all the wood in the river and those somehow manage to reach the dam.People are clueless about the road but clear about their destination There is more but you get the point... Hope this will make things enjoyable for you too..
