Make india Great

Hi I'm 28 M, I wanted to contribute something to India apart from taxes but I get lost in overthinking who I can be...

Should I join army navy or airforce, can I join at this age. Being in IT can I contribute to army in similar ways.

Should I become a politician, since they are capable of pulling strings.

Should I start preparing for upsc but it is tough and I'm not sure whether I can...

Should I turn into a traffic police officers since I get frustrated why Indians don't have patience and lane discipline in driving..

Should I become a road contractor... Low quality roads getting eroded after rains irritates every single day.

Should I do nothing just pay taxes...

Please share your thoughts and cross question me to get out from this low

these are the way i contribute to this country - pick yours that you find usefull.

  1. Dont throw garbage randomly. If you are paan eater, stop spitting.
  2. Dont randomly buy clothes. Most clothes just simply remain in the cupboard without any use. Limit cloth purchase to 2-3 time a year.
  3. Dont buy/consume beyond what is needed. Dont buy something because it has become old/outdated. The only reason to buy something is when the exiting one breaks down. Every time we consume more, we are destorying this country. Why? the good stuff gets exported, we are buying the rejected and bad stuff. Fall in prices will lead to better quality goods as the criteria of sale.
  4. Restrict eating outside. Food business are the biggest polluters of both the country and human body. The feed us shit. and we pay for it.
  5. Eat only locally grown foods. Meaning, if you are in India, do not eat fruits like kiwi, avocado. They are not native to this country. We import fruits and vegetables and those poor farmers enjoy tax free status. Salaried people subsidize thier hondas/fortuners.
  6. Be polite to the people next to you. Who knows what they go thru.
  7. Dont promote Dehati culture. Teach the kids, that Bollywood dancing is not for the respected.
  8. Avoid alcohol at all costs. there is not need to give the gvmt more taxes. and spoil our health. the alcohol served in our country is suitable only for cleaning rust from old machinery.
  9. When someone wants to overtake let him/her overtake.
  10. Dont fall for the stupid save environment BS. If the sea levels were raising, the rich wouldnt buy sea facing properties.

will add more, when i remember....

Also, don't encourage buying food online or ordering stuff online unless and until that's the only choice. Doing these is creating unnecessary jobs for the young people when they can spend their precious time and age studying...they are working as delivery agents

Your noble intent to help will lead to disappointment. Whatever you do, your actions won't be meaningful to India that is 130Crore people. But it cam be meaningful to 20 people just around you.

Start from there. Start helping the immediate ones around you. Then you rise to your gully, your Mohalla, your pincode, your city, district, state and so on.

Solve your cook/maid's financial problems; offer tea/coffee to the watchmen; donate computers to a Govt school near you.

Just teach poor kids part time on weekends. Teach the little ones to dream and to do the right thing. Small deeds matter

Upsc, army etc is overrated if you want to contribute in the real sense, that are just other jobs where you will be frustrated even more.
