Absolutely true They take money from buyers in name of financing projects and handing over completed homes but redirect money to other hollow projects or spent on themselves. These thicker skinned reptiles aka real estate mafia does not move an inch hearing cries and lament of buyers asking for their lifelong hard earned money nor they have fear of police/ law as they regularly fix corrupt coffers of “Shistum”. This is the modus operandi of all real estate rats be they be operating in unauthorised congested localities or some posh name high rise towers. Property dealers ki maa ka Bharosa Saale madar cords

Indian real estate industry is full of scam/cheats or liars right from broker, owners trying to sell or the government.

Best to invest your money in someother country where you have trust and confidence where government has strict regulations. I prefer Singapore, Malaysia or Dubai which seems to be doable and growth point of view.

It’s better to become a real estate broker. You will get untaxable money, a good decent amount of money.
I knew couple of brokers in Mumbai, who drove Merc, BMWs and Audis(brand new ones). And they will come back to you after every 11 months to collect their brokerage(most of the brokers).
