Mac or Windows for office
People in day long office jobs, how can you work easily on Mac (startup folks specially ) I have been given one at my new job at a startup and it looked pretty jazzy and all on day one. Now when I have to do real work, it sucks.I can't use MS Office, multi windows or even screen sharing / split. I want my normal windows desktop back.

Ugggh, people will be pretty divided over this I am sure. I have used Macs for the last 6 years in all jobs so I don't even remember what a Windows feels like any more

I get it, it's the ‘ getting used to’ thing. But honestly what's the incentive of using a mac over a Windows. Apart from the Jazz. I can list so many for Windows.

Linux. It was a little difficult to start with but now that I'm used to it, I'm unable to use my personal windows laptop lmao.
bhai windows 🤢, feels like its a decade behind macs. I prefer mac or chromebook over windows anyday
Idk what all the smart people working for microsoft are building.
"humans have one life on this planet, and with all the top brains working for microsoft, the world deserves better"

Decade behind macs? Mac doesn't even have the clipboard feature yet lol. And the snapping sucks.
Apple>>>Microsoft for security and privacy purposes.
You can do Multi Windows..
Who needs MS Office when you can just type doc.new ? sheet.new ?
You can copy from one app and paste into another app without changing their position (front/back) (so underrated)
Music & Battery (far better than any Windows)
Saying all these, I use a personal Windows and I enjoy it too.. although context switching especially Keyboard was tough, but with a wireless keyboard it's just same everywhere..
Linux FTW. I love kubunutu ❤️
Mac anyday.. All my development tools work beautifully.. The best part -> No blue screen of death and weird errors of windows. Mac just runs beautifully every.single.day. Linux based so no viruses. The UI is a matter of getting used to.
Was like you but learnt shortcuts Understood many functions don't work well like VB editor for macros, powerapps so reserve it for my windows office laptop Functions keep improving over time and will reach parity by 2035 is what I feel
Mac if non finance
Why can’t you use MS Office? My Mac has those pre-installed. May be your organisation hasn’t taken their paid version, so it is their fault. For other things, like keyboard etc, you can get familiarised just in a few days, but obviously for initial 2-3 days it will look very weird.
